Description
Carbon steel socket welding flange has a section of high neck from the welding point between the flange and the pipe to the flange plate. The wall thickness of this section of high neck gradually transits to the pipe wall thickness along the height direction, which improves the stress discontinuity and therefore increases the strength of the flange.
Carbon steel socket welding flange is mainly used in harsh occasions, such as occasions where the flange is subjected to high stress due to pipeline thermal expansion or excessive load. It is suitable for pipelines with large fluctuation of pressure and temperature and pipelines with high temperature, high pressure and low temperature below zero.
